NOTE: You can use any unit you want (cm,inches,yards,etc), just be consistent. All inputs and outputs use the same unit.
Height of your corset:
(measure from top grommet to bottom grommet)
Number of grommets (per side):
Maximum gap:
(width between grommets on opposite sides, when loosened to the maximum desired degree)
Minimum gap:
(width between grommets on opposite sides when laced to the maximum desired degree)
(Disclaimer: this is an approximation - try before you cut!)
Minimal required lace length:
(the least total length of the cord - leaves no slack when loosened to maximum gap)
Slack length:
(length of slack when laced to the maximum desired degree - assumes standard lacing procedure is used, leaving two loops at the center)
